Role of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in cadmium tolerance in rice (Oryza sativa L): a meta-analysis

چکیده

Rice is an important agricultural product consumed globally. polluted by cadmium (Cd) poses serious health risks. Numerous studies have shown that arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) decrease Cd concentrations in the grain, shoots, and roots of rice. However, one study showed AMF increased root concentration Therefore, a meta-analysis contribution to rice tolerance became necessary. This was conducted analyze role searching following databases: ProQuest, PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect. A total 571 were found, which nine 25 datasets used meta-analysis. The period inclusion research reports from January 1992 April 2022. results with addition Rhizophagus irregularis, higher than control group, although overall plant reduced. Four species reduced shoots grain tissues. These biomass shoot tissues; however, they did not affect biomass. decreased transfer factor (TF), TF Glomus versiforme (12.99%) significantly lower other three types. We proposed could be enriched roots, inhibited. At time harvesting, are removed soil, thus removing soil. operation can efficiently improve both land-bearing capacity soil without affecting yield. Thus, poten-tial for inhibited due TF. future must focus on how R. irregularis HMA3 gene expression root, prevents transportation shoots.

Enhancing Tolerance to Salinity Stress in Poncirus trifoliata L. Using Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi

Citrus fruits are susceptible to salinity. In the present study, the reaction of trifoliate sour orange (Poncirus  trifoliata L.) to the salinity stress at the presence of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) was investigated. Forty-day-old seedlings were inoculated with three species of AMF in combinations including Glomus mosseae + Glomus intraradices, Glomus mosseae + Glomus hoi, Glomus intrar...

Role of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal (AM) Fungi in Phytoremediation of Soils Contaminated: A Review

Pollution of the soil environment with toxic materials from fossil burning, mining and smelting of metalliferous ores, disposal of sewage, fertilizers and pesticides, etc. has increased dramatically since the onset of industrial revolution. Application of plants with ability of absorbing heavy metals is a low-cost alternative for eliminating soils from heavy metals. Phytoremediation uses plants...

Correlation Studies in Rice (Oryza sativa L.)

Seventy genotypes of rice (Oryza sativa L.) were evaluated during Kharif 2012 to study the nature and extent of correlation among yield and yield attributing characters, days to 50 per cent flowering, days to maturity, number of effective tillers per plant, plant height, panicle length, number of grains per panicle, 1000-grain weight, grain yield per plant, kernel length, kernel breadth and L/B...

OsMSR2, a novel rice calmodulin-like gene, confers enhanced salt tolerance in rice (Oryza sativa L.)

OsMSR2 is a novel calmodulin-like gene in rice. Previous study has been demonstrated that OsMSR2 was a cold, drought and heat-inducible gene. However, the role of OsMSR2 in rice stress response is still unclear. To reveal the function of OsMSR2 involved in stress response, the expression pattern and effects of overexpression of OsMSR2 on salt stress were analyzed in rice. Quantitative real-time...
